We have a dedicated project management team, focused on guiding key customer projects and (agile) continuous improvement cycles. Every project manager typically runs 2 – 3 customer engagements simultaneously.  

What you’ll do  

  • Lead software, data & change projects at our customers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of consultants, developers and data scientists and will coach and guide the team to deliver and grow. As part of this you give pro-active feedback and challenge the team to look at new ideas or methods.  
  • Manage customer relationships, usually with a delivery manager counterpart and with key stakeholders at customers. Often our project managers play a key role in managing expectations, helping the customer prioritize and resolve issues.   
  • Oversee the delivery process and ensure your team keeps on track. Prepare, coordinate and host Steerco’s and internal PMO meetings and report on progress.  
  • Plan resources, sprints and deliverables. Manage project budget and profitability.  
  • (Co) Write project plans, statements of work, estimations etc. And manage tools such as JIRA.  
  • Spot opportunities to drive further growth at our customer(s) and work with your team on identifying and pursuing commercial upsell opportunities.  
  • Negotiate work packages and change request pricing and terms within existing projects or engagements. For larger customers / engagements, this will often be together with the account manager or business lead. For small customers / engagements you might be in the lead.  
  • Experienced project managers tend to also become more knowledgeable on our customer’s strategy and their objectives and we therefor encourage project managers to also actively participate on the content of a project

      What you will bring  

      • As a project manager, you will have at least 5 years’ experience in Data / Technology / Consulting of which 2 years in a project management capacity. For senior project managers we are looking for 10 years industry experience of which at least 5 years in a project management capacity.  
      • Master degree in supply chain, logistics, operations research or comparable.  
      • Project management certification and training. E.g. PMP, IPMA-B, Prince II, QPLC or comparable. 
      • Experience with agile software development.  
      • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and structure complex situations and decide on way forward with your project team (e.g. project risk assessment, managing schedule and budget constraints). 
      • Well-developed negotiation skills; as a project manager you are the first escalation point and it helps if you get energy from resolving conflicting interests and finding common ground.  
      • Excellent communication and influencing skills, know how to get things done internally and externally 
      • Fluent in t English, both verbally and in writing. German language skills on a business level are a big plus.   
      • Hands-on mentality. We are a relatively small organization and everyone helps to get things done.
